About LudoChamber
LudoChamber is an automated discovery platform dedicated to surfacing Steam games with fewer than 100 reviews — games that are genuinely undiscovered, not just underplayed.
How It Works
Every few hours, our pipeline scans tens of thousands of Steam games and automatically identifies hidden gems using a multi-signal quality scoring system. Games must earn a score above 40/100 to enter — and even then, they sit in a 7-day quarantine before going live. This gives the review count time to stabilise. If a game crosses 100 reviews during that window, it is removed from the queue.
What Gets Filtered Out
Not everything under 100 reviews belongs here. Our scorer automatically hard-rejects:
- DLC, soundtracks, demos, software, tools — these aren't games and pollute discovery.
- Asset-flip factories — developers who release more than 6 games per year with an average of fewer than 10 reviews each are excluded.
- Broken or unplayable games — if the majority of reviewers quit in under 10 minutes, the median reviewer playtime flags it as a scam signal.
- Shovelware — games priced under $2 with fewer than 20 reviews and only generic tags take a heavy scoring penalty.
- Adult-only content — excluded by default.
Your Role: Tags & Votes
Automated discovery finds the games — the community decides which ones shine.
- Community Gems: Games that get enough community votes rise to the top, surfacing the best of what the pipeline finds.
- Editor's Picks: Our curators hand-select standouts for special visibility — games that deserve a spotlight beyond the algorithm.
- Tags: Browse and filter by vibe, genre, mood, or visual style. Suggest new tags to make navigation richer for everyone.
What Happens When a Game Takes Off?
Once a game accumulates 100 or more (verified) Steam reviews, it is automatically removed from the active list. LudoChamber curates undiscovered games, so when a game hits it big, it leaves the chamber!
Our Philosophy
The 100-review threshold isn't arbitrary. It's the point where Steam's own algorithm begins to take notice — where a game stops being invisible and starts getting organic reach. Before that moment, discovery is almost entirely word-of-mouth. LudoChamber exists to be that word of mouth, at scale, without editorial bottlenecks.
LudoChamber was built by one person who kept missing great indie games in the noise.
